I like the total absence of any Razr models. Come on, Verizon, just release them already.

Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD are coming in November, it seems.

If this is true I am getting the 920 under contract and purchasing the 8X full retail

LG Spectrum 2 will easily be out shined by the LG Blaze which is due to be released around the same time.

Did I read that right Big Red is getting the 920? My prayers have been answered! I thought they were only getting the 820.

All three WP 8 flagships??? After having none since the Dinosaurs died and the Earth cooled?? That is a blast!!
Liking the choices. Boy the DINK X is probably an extremely important device for HTC, who needs to answer all the sliding sales with a hit.
Love the QWERTY. Option. The Droid 4 is still the King, but we love options. Verizon now has choices in every category and every OS. AT&T's only advantage may be gone.

snowgator, to me the Nokia Lumia 920 is the only choice for WP8. The Samsung Stratosphere 2 with the dual-core S4 is awesome for the qwerty. I am still waiting to see this mysterious HTC phablet. To me the phablets will be between the Samsung Galaxy Note II & the HTC 5" phablet. For regular Android smartphone the LG Blaze is the only choice. That phone looks so epic.
You are so right Verizon is definitely where it's at this holiday season. The best service with the best phones.

This is great news! I was looking into buying my wife an HTC Trophy but its only 3G. She's been spoiled with an HTC Thunderbolt (Running on LTE of course), so this is great! I'm trying to get us both to switch over to WP8 devices! Let the good times roll ^_^

I have the Trophy and my GF has the Samsung Charge on LTE and my Trophy is consistently faster on it's old 3G than her phone is on LTE. Also, as I travel quite a bit, the Trophy is a bonus as it is a "global phone"!

I sure hope this is true about the Nokia Lumina 920.

srsly, i'm in the market for a smartphone on verizion
i am kind of holding off waiting to see what happens with the reviews for nokia
but i am losing patience waiting for nokia to just say where their phones are going
it's kind of put up or shut up time, nokia
it isn't like you have anything to lose by being secretive at this point
even if it is january or something
just give me a reason to wait

Unfortunately, Nokia SUCKS at marketing and deliverability at the moment. I'm seriously hoping for them to get their act together on that part, but... Not entirely convinced they have what it takes to pull that part off.

Folks if this is true that Verizon will have a CDMA Nokia Lumia 920 then Nokia at last has expanded it's USA Flagship smart phone presence and is truly now back in the USA
Market like it should be. I like Nokia and am a Windows smart phone Fan and a Verizon customer who has been looking for this a long time now. I want Nokia to survive and still think it can but I still believe it has to make a high end Android smart phone to sell to that segment of the smart phone market to make enough money to get back into the black. I also think they need to make a Windows 8 Pro not a Windows RT tablet computer because th Windows 8 Pro has plenty of programs already available for People to use from the Windows full OS PC/Laptop library.

Anyone have a guess for how much that HTC phablet will sell for? I'm really interested in either this or the SGS3.

Hey jerk.. some of us NEED a QWERTY Keyboard due to large hands.. Its not that we "Can't figure out" the onscreen keyboard its just its slower then heck. Also no tactile feel of the buttons, and it covers over half the screen.. real annoying when filling out things online. So the QWERTY fans have legitimate reasons for wanting a keyboard.. and its not because "We cant figure it out"
21. knowah posted on 21 Sep 2012, 13:29 0 0
I have ginormous fingers and qwerty keyboards are unusable unless I use fingernails.
On screen keyboards are much better, imo, than tactile for us big fingered folks. Maybe that's what he means you should figure out =P.
I'm only kidding, to each his own.

At least their carrying FLAGSHIP Windows Phones 8. I just can't believe that the windows phone that I have was their ONLY model using 7.5 that they carried. Like WTF, Verizon?

Lumia 920 is the only phone that could get me to switch to Verizon.
These phablets seem like they were designed for Americans who think Hummers are a good automobile choice. Really silly.

Although I do like larger screens (maybe not gigantic ones, as you mention). This truly made me laugh!
28. pedershk posted on 21 Sep 2012, 19:09 0 0
Positively surprised on the kind of reception the Lumia 920 is getting. Makes me hopeful that we at last have a REAL ecosystem competitor on our hands.

I was INCHES away from joining AT&T or T-Mo... But if it is true, NOKIA LUMIA 920 AND, not or, HTC Windows Phone 8X!!!

THREE. WINDOWS. PHONE. 8. PHONES.
And all are flagships.
I just hope Verizon backs up these three Windows Phone phones with marketing they truly deserve.
