what annoys me is that they haven't released a list of phones being updated yet... My HTC Radar had better be on the list!

As far as I'm aware, all phones currently running 7.5 (mango) are going to get the update, so you should be fine.

There are still loyal customers who are still using Windows phone 7.5 and are eager to update to 7.8.. so this article is for them... if you don't care about it, you don't have to comment right? Not everyone is so unconcerned about Windows phone 7.8....

Yep.. have a couple of Dell Venue Pros waiting for updates. Waiting to see what second generation smart phones will come out with.

I think the last sentenceof this article is dead accurate. I am a WP7 user, and I feel like I'm serving out a sentence until my contract is up because I can't get WP8 sooner. I'm looking to get every last feature possible out of 7.8.

Honestly, there aren't a ton of features (That I use or have noticed) that I didn't have on my Lumia 900. The different tile sizes are great, and the extra themes, but I really haven't used Rooms, and will never use Kids' Corner. For me, it's all about the hardware. The Lumia 900 was a nice, albeit underpowered, handset, and my Focus was just a nice, cheap phone. My Lumia 920 is the first WP that I am actually thinking about keeping as my main phone, and I have recently had an S3 and an iPhone 5, and I have a Nexus 4 in the mail. It's that good.

Yeah, I'd be much more likely to go with the Lumia 920 off contract if I were on ATT, but I'm on a family plan at Verizon and still under contract. There would be too many charges along the way for me to make the switch, the biggest of which is the additional monthly amount I would pay for going with a separate line plus the current family plan for the rest of the lines.

Same here.. plan on keeping my Dell Venue Pros for another year and a half so I can leave T-mobile for Verizon (Or at least have the option without costing me a Grand). Then maybe the new W8 2nd Gen phones will be out and maybe with a QWERTY model.

My Lumia 900, I bought it from UK, and the date and time settings does not have automatic change function, I have to change it by myself when I arrive at each different country. Are there anyone having same problem with the phone?
