Leaked Jelly Bean update for T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S III
Share:
It never has been a question of "if" but a matter of "when" the Samsung Galaxy S III would be getting updated to Android 4.1.1. The International version of the device is expected to receive the update next week and a leak of that update has been around for nearly 2 weeks. Those holding the SGH-T999, which is the T-Mobile variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III, should be pleased to hear about a version of Android 4.1.1 for their device which was discovered by an XDA Developer's forum member.
The leaked update for the T-Mobile branded Samsung seems to be essentially the same as the leaked update for the GT-i9300. While the rollout of Android 4.1.1 for the International Samsung Galaxy S III seems to be set for August 29th, could the appearance of the leak for the SGH-T999 point to a similar time period for the update in the States?
For those interested in living dangerously or those who can't wait out a week or so, head over to the sourcelink for instructions on how to install the leaked version of Android 4.1.1 on your T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III.

Better update when it's out as this is the most expensive phone I have ever acquired! How so? £499 for the 16gb blue variant plus £135 to get the manucaturer's defect (the cracked plastic - no drop no pressure) fixed. Shocking denial and customer care by Samsung to boot.....PRICELESS!!
