Leak of internal document shows the Sony Xperia ZL priced in Canada by Rogers

Sure, the Sony Xperia ZL isn't water or dust resistant like its big brother, the Sony Xperia Z is, but truthfully, the Sony Xperia ZL would be a sleek flagship model that many other manufacturers would be proud of calling their own, it is just the bad luck of the device that Sony decided to release a slightly more impressive handset at the same time...

Maybe it's just me, but I like Xperia ZL way much more than Xperia Z. ._.

Exactly. It looks more sleek which is more important to me than being waterproof.

Tried ZL, the smaller footprint really impressed me with the 5inch display.

I thought it was a 4.7 inch? Sorry if it's a stupid question

Nope, 5 inch. Although it is smaller than most 4.7 inch phones and is smaller than a 4.5 inch Nokia phone. You can even argue that it is smaller than a 4.3 inch HTC phone.

I personally think that 9.8 mm is still too thick for a flagship though. I say 8.9 mm tops and would have preferred if Sony made this a tiny bit taller and thinner, not Xperia Z 141 mm tall but maybe 133mm and thinner than 9.8 mm.

Normally, Sony phones do nothing for me, but I gotta say... The Xperia ZL got me turning my head in Sony's direction. Nice.
