Last week, we passed along some rumored specs for the LeEco Le 2S (LeEco X720) that included a whopping 8GB of RAM, and the inclusion of the Snapdragon 821 chipset under the hood. But a GFXBench benchmark test reveals that the probable specs for the device include 4GB of RAM with the Snapdragon 820 chipset powering the unit. The latter will include a quad-core CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU.

The screen will be 5.5-inches with a 1080 x 1920 resolution and 32GB of native storage will be inside. The phone will have a 16MP camera on back (some rumors call for a pair of 16MP cameras to adorn the rear of the handset), with an 8MP shooter in front for selfies and video chats. A fingerprint scanner will be found under the rear camera(s). Without a 3.5mm earphone jack, the phone will use CDLA technology, which will allow earphones to plug into the Type-C USB port employed by this device. The LeEco Le 2S supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0.

Besides the GFXBench run through, the phone was certified by the CCC (China Compulsory Certification). All smartphones manufactured or imported into China must receive this certification.

The LeEco Le 2S is expected to be unveiled in the first week of September.
