Just about every LTE phone has been delayed and more than once. This shouldn't surprise anyone, disappoint yes but not surprise.

I think we have been patient enough Motorola/Verizon

this is total s**t if it is true.........everything we have heard said early August....even the rep I talked to at a store made it obvious he had been through the training on the phone....and wouldn't confirm the launch date (as all good VWZ are to do) but when I mentioned when I was walking away I would see him in August....he smiled and said see you on the 4th

if it is delayed yet again it is simply going to piss those that have patiently waited for it off so bad that they will just go to something else......everyday they delay they LOSE sales....people that get fed up and buy a competitors phone

Someone on another site brought up a good point

before they launched the Thunderbolt there were ads....the lightning hitting the tree.....the kid pulling to phone out

the Droid charge had a pre release ad campaign also .....don't remember too much of what it was because I already knew I wasn't buying that phone

If there was a release as big as the Bionic coming in 8 days ........wouldn't we have seen commercials by now???

that alone should tell us that this thing is delayed yet again

I have always been a Motorola guy (ok I bought an LG once) but if the Function comes out first I am gone on principle alone

I am done waiting......oh wait wasn't that the Bionics catch phrase "the end of waiting"

Why are people even bothering waiting in the first place? It's a Motorola phone, it's no different than the others out there.

Motorola gotta be the stupidest brand seen in recent times. Thought they were sorta dependable but Verizon is even dumber for having to continue to wait and continue to lose more and more customers. Verizion and Mtorola are now gonna be known as Bert & Ernie for making noodle head decisions. I mean how stupid could they be combined? They can't jus hype the phone up, give false release dates and expect ppl to sit back and wait. And so far from the comments i read of others on here, they jus lost more customers. Not smart business Bert & Ernie along wit your cost for data plans now. They should be real bold and jus wait till the iphone5 comes out and see how many ppl will wait then.

I'm done waiting for it. I've been able to upgrade for 2 months now but at this point I'll wait for the next LTE phone after this one. Whether it be the GSII or an as of yet unannounced HTC. No phone with this many delays has a chance of being good.

So glad i didn't wait for the bionic...this whole thing has been a huge fiasco. I went with the Droid 3 and have been very, very happy. What a joke...if I were the CEO of Motorola, I'd be firing the bionic team. So many delays and level of incompetance is inexcusable! If I had an opportunity to trade back my Droid 3, and the bionic turns out to be a good phone I wouldn't...just on principle!

I will be honest ......not only am I done with the Bionic.....I am done with Motorola

this whole thing left such a bad taste in my mouth I am purposely upgrading both mine and my sons phones to something other than Motorola.

They simply do not deserve mine nor anyones money......it is time for their senior management team to be shown the door and new blood int here that knows that their loyal customers need to be considered
