Latest data shows Apple iPhone still holding top smartphone market share in the U.S.

The Apple iPhone remained the top smartphone in the U.S. with an average market share of 39.2% for the three months ended in May, according to the latest data released by comScore; runner-up Samsung actually narrowed the gap during the period as its three month average market share of the U.S. smartphone market rose from an average 21.3% for the three months ended in February...

Gs4 is on top on almost all carriers but this data is from Feb - may.. Gs4's sales started only from late April.. So we can see that only one month of gs4 sales have accounted in this calculation.. IPhone 5 in the other hand is on 6th, 7th position only in China.. In US, they are top in AT&T and they are second in other carriers where s4 is on top..

Apple should own at least 50% of the market share in the U.S.

It is after all, their own domain.

I'm surprised Motorola is even on the list... Not because I think they suck, but because other manufactures have more current phones out.
