Latest Nougat beta for the Galaxy S7 brings the new Note app and Samsung Pass

We already previewed some of those new options, like the app shortcuts placed in the notification shade, or the ability to change the screen resolution with a simple slider to save on battery, but there will be more in store with the official update, it seems. Samsung just outed a third Nougat beta release and it brings some anticipated new features.

First stop is the new Galaxy Note app that has been ported over from the Note 7. It unifies staples like Action Memo or S Note into one app called simply Note, though how will it be used on a stylus-deprived phones, remains to be tested. Next is the addition of Samsung Pass, which is basically a master key for mobile banking services or website login on Samsung's default browser, though the feature may not work in all markets. 

The rest are bug fixes and rearrangements like moving the Clear All button in the Recents screen to the bottom where it belongs, or adding an auto brightness toggle in the Quick Panel options.
