Leave it to a Nokia/windows fanboy to start a fight on an article about not fighting. This is the behavior people used to expect out of apple users. Now wp8 users have taken up the mantel of pretentious, smug elitists.

your not helping deflecting it to other users like you have and somehow turning a blind eye to the fact all os's and companies have there cult following and none are better then the other....nice dodge on your part to not mention samsung fanboys etc that do the same

so your no better then him

i agree with everyone else though why is it that people insist on been negative when theres no damn need......the tech community are slipping

A-Steal, it's so funny, because when a Samsung fan defends Samsung, this guy is quick to talk down on him, but if HTC, Nokia, etc., fans defend their favorite company, he says nothing. I don't know who he thinks he's fooling.

It's so funny, because ant mention of 'wp fanboys' you're quick to get defensive, but any mention someone saying anything negative about, say, samsung, you're nowhere to be found. You're quick to step on Samsung and act as if you're not 'bashing' them or the fans of Samsung. If I'm not to be mistaken, this site is flooded with all sorts of fanboys; NOT just Samsung. Get your head out of your ass, hypocrite.

lets answer this in a simple way as for fanboys im having to explain the simpliest of things over and over. yes i know these accounts are more then likely troll etc spamming its real obvious

so here we go again, when theres a wp article or bb or apple you get 10's of android fanboys and samsung fanboys spewing crap and im sick of it. the same happened when apple was on top with many apple trolls and i defended android many times (why i dont know as the standard of user seems to be like you)

also ive defended samsung in the past even gave credit about how they brought the phablet to the level it is now but its hard to have real talks about samsung when 50 fanboys are praising them to cult levels and slating everything else. i know for you its hard to here anything negative to samsung but if they can dish it out they should be ready to take it.

always if you can find me one of my comments where ive said samsung is crap i will delete my account...go on find it

and dont try to be smart and say this comment i aint that stupid find one where its used in context

Dude for the umpteenth time, I DO NOT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT GOOGLE GLASS TO MAKE AN INTELLIGENT JUDGEMENT ON IT. At this point I neither like, nor dislike GG. please stop saying that. The only thing I do not like about android is.......the lack of auto compression/auto editing the video camera. And for the record google has copied apple, apple has copied google, apple has copied Sammy, Sammy has copied apple, Htc has copied Motorola, who's copied Sammy, who's copied apple, who's copied.......well you get the picture.

Hope there is peace among all the tech giants, and they spend more time on research than on suing each other............

Well said. I really don't see the point in all these wars( Fanboy wars). I understand people love the brands they choose but it can get sometimes very heated and petty. These are major corporations and their CEO and VP etc.. make their money and get their golden parachutes regardless if their products are number 1 or number 2 - in reality what it really boils down to is this - our egos. People like saying "I made the right choice and you guys did not." or "I'm a winner ( because I have the most popular device) and your a loser Your device is less popular)" what have you won? you still have to work for living still have to worry about your health care and retirement. Tim, Larry, Bill, Elop, Ballmer etc.. don't. Let me get down from my soap box and just say I like what larry said lets see if he and the rest of the industry will agree. I'm not gonna hold my breath but like I said get what works for you and what you like and don't get stress about what rhetoric is being spewed by any corporations or Blind Fanboy.

and your just fueling the problem

stop holding one company as saints while slating others when they all have the same aims and goals

''Feels good to be with Google''

this shows your the problem your not with them, why do fanboys become cult followers of a company just enjoy evereything and appreciate all companys that push tech forward ....the business side no one on here can argue about as there not part of the company making the decisions

we should just be enjoying all the tech they flood to the markets

Well, believe it or not, companies are as good as people running them.
So yes, there indeed are better and worse companies to chose being a customer of.
It's what means being a responsible consumer.
You can't go all relative on things like that and look no further than at the product itself. That is wrong.

That being said I am far from being THAT naive to hold Google as saints.
They have plenty of dirty laundry of their own and their privacy policy is a serious ethical question.
By saying that it feels good to be with them RATHER than with other two, I it means just that.
Feeling good in realization you picked by far the lesser evil

Open source is for the betterment and advancement of the tech community. The open source community has driven technology forward far more than anyone else. If you want a dollar amount proof of that just look at Googles stock price right now.

I found it amazing and awesome that two big competitors such as Google and Mozilla can work together for the benefit of us all and still continue to make great products.

Well it's obvious by a few of these comments, the true fanboys aren't ready yet. No need to call anyone out, you know who you are.

Page is right, no matter what your favorite OS or OEM may be. There's too much bickering and not enough inovating. Yes, Samsung should have been sued for copying with the first Galaxy S's UI. They lost that battle and hopefully learned their lesson so let's move on. But adding the GS4 to the lawsuit is just another case of, "We can't beat them, so let's sue them!" And Samsung is getting out of hand too. Apple needs to take their billion dollars and give it to R&D, they need it. Samsung needs to quit hiring bloggers to hate on the One, and hire some new designers instead.
