So if you buy this phone off-contract it will cost you probably somewhere about $700 for the phone and then an additional $150 for the dock..... $850 bucks. For $850 I could go out and buy myself an i7, motherboard, DDR3 ram, HD, case, and monitor. Why should I invest so much money into a gen 1 product. While I admit the Atrix is beast of a phone. I mean this phone looks to be the being of something amazing. The price makes me uncomfortable and the AT&T branding on it just makes me think I am going to go the other way. Motorola has a good brand name. They release quality products and generally update timely. AT&T.... Well my mother told if you have nothing nice to say its better to say nothing at all. But I just want to point out that AT&T is still 0.000% on upgrades to any android phone.

@ jenna i agee with you good phone on a crappy network also dont forget about at&ts crappy 2gb plan . Which im sure many people will go over it. I have sprint right now and on my evo i always use more waaaaay more than 2gb a month but it dont matter cuz im on an unlimited plan. Imagine what at&t charges when u go over 2gb? I dnt even wanna kno good thing i dont have them ...

@bowarrow0606 just cuz u dont go over 2 gb it doesnt mean me and other people wont go over it.. I do i watch tons and i mean tons of youtube videos and do a bunch of video chats because i can do them over 4g i dont need to be relying on wifi to make video calls . And also i download a bunch of music .

Well… the Monroe once must spend to be among the first yo.try something … I don't think the unlocked phone will cost $800 with docks include
But Moto should have played wise since this may also be an lte phone they should create a cdma/GSM phone and sell it unlocked to the rest… I bet many would like it on vrz it sprint (sorry tmo but your band management is rather complicated)

And you will return the Atrix too when AT&T refuses to update it.
