Laptop dock for the Motorola ATRIX 4G is expected to cost $150?
Share:
We're sure that there are going to be many people interested in its laptop dock, but we're hearing the faint whispers that it'll be sporting a $150 price tag when it's released. The revelation reportedly comes from a Best Buy employee who was told the $150 pricing of the laptop dock from an AT&T representative.
Come to think about it, it doesn't stray far from being believable since comparable netbooks run around somewhere in the $250 category – which of course offers the full computing experience. When you look at the ATRIX's laptop dock, it'll boast an 11.6” display, speakers, keyboard, and battery – which will mean nothing, unless you have the actual device connected to it.
Still, we'd imagine that pricing will indeed come into factor on whether or not buyers of the Motorola ATRIX 4G will pick up the laptop dock as well on launch day.

So if you buy this phone off-contract it will cost you probably somewhere about $700 for the phone and then an additional $150 for the dock..... $850 bucks. For $850 I could go out and buy myself an i7, motherboard, DDR3 ram, HD, case, and monitor. Why should I invest so much money into a gen 1 product. While I admit the Atrix is beast of a phone. I mean this phone looks to be the being of something amazing. The price makes me uncomfortable and the AT&T branding on it just makes me think I am going to go the other way. Motorola has a good brand name. They release quality products and generally update timely. AT&T.... Well my mother told if you have nothing nice to say its better to say nothing at all. But I just want to point out that AT&T is still 0.000% on upgrades to any android phone.

Well… the Monroe once must spend to be among the first yo.try something … I don't think the unlocked phone will cost $800 with docks include
But Moto should have played wise since this may also be an lte phone they should create a cdma/GSM phone and sell it unlocked to the rest… I bet many would like it on vrz it sprint (sorry tmo but your band management is rather complicated)

And you will return the Atrix too when AT&T refuses to update it.
