After the report that an iPhone with LTE reference in the iOS code is being tested by a carrier, and the tip that AT&T is installing LTE equipment in an Apple Store, comes the realization that this LTE mention is actually present in all recent development builds of iOS...

The best 4g coverage is Tmobile by far. They have the bulk of the network in 4g already, way ahead of VZW.

Wow you can't be serious. Just cause you work for T Mobile doesn't make them the best. You're a sheep and brainwashed by your company. How come when you worked for VZW you said they were the best?

they are both the best you idiot. we've had this conversation.

noone touches VZWs over all coverage.. no one. If you travel or live out in the boonies or just never want to have to worry about service, then VZW is the choice.

Tmobile's HSPA+ network is as fast or faster in real world testing as VZW's LTE network ,and its a much larger coverage area (talking about 4g taco).. so when it comes to actual 4g.. and especially pricing, TMOBILE is the BEST. But Tmo's network isnt nearly as large over all so its a give and take.

If you live in an area where both get great coverage like I do... (we call that a major metro area lol), then why pay DOUBLE to have the same service? My 3g is 4-5mbs, my 4g averages 10mb/s-16mb/s in real world compared to VZWs 500kb "3g" and 7-17mbs LTE.

If both gives me great service, why would I pay DOUBLE if i didnt have to?

If i couldnt have either one of them, I'd choose sprint.. then cricket n metro.... then.......... wifi only skyping... then ATT.. lol

its all choice, but you arent catching me in some double whammy like you think you are. your just a desperate iDiot.

Some of us actually work for a living, we dont live with our mommies in some imaginary castle.

@remixfa... in a year..ATT will be your number one chioce.... once the merger is complete.... is noce to have good coverage in your area... but u know why verizon customer pay double...???.. when we get out of the zone.. i can go hiking. snowboarding... hell even camping.. and have signal ..while your T-mo... well you can borrow VZW tower to place a call....

kinda mirrors what i just said gallitoking, huh? VZW works everywhere where no one else does.

Also, i took a trip from FL to SC to TN to PA then back to FL.. i lost Tmobile signal for about 15 minutes or so in the back woods of GA (it looked like a scene from a 50s horror movie, so no surprise) .. that was it. Hell, i had 4g on the mountain tops between SC and TN. (i was very surprised about that lol).

But how often do you go hiking and camping? Is it worth an extra 1500-3000 (depending on features and lines) over the life of a contract? If I know im going to be hiking for a week, i can pull out my trusty old VZW envy2 that i have in storage, have it activated no contract, forward my Tmo calls to it, and then turn it off when i get back.
Yea, its an extra step, but for the big fat money savings, its not a big deal.

No carrier fits everyone, but if what you do with your life gets great coverage from multiple carriers, why wouldn't you chose the one that's LESS THAN HALF the price and as fast or faster?

nope, if i get severance in the merger like proably 2/3rds of us will and lose my phone benefit, im going as far away from ATT as possible. Of course, I might start a new Tmobile contract the day before the merger goes through, since it will still be running off of Tmobile's 4g data while getting better voice service.
I hate ATT, they are a vile company. I really dont want to give them my money if I have another option. Its that easy.
