After hearing about the LG VX9600 since last year, and even after seeing a few screen shots, we're pleased that some pictures of the device have finally surfaced. The phone, which possibly will be called the LG Versa, features a modular design, allowing the user to attach (or un-attach) components to it. The provided pictures only show the QWERTY keyboard module, but there will also be a game pad, speakers, and even a rumored WiFi attachment. It is an interesting idea, but who want's to carry all those extra pieces around with them? We're also not sure which attachments will be included in the box, and which ones you'll have to pay extra for.

I am officially satisfied and will not complain that my Dare sucks compared to this anymore XP Well, it is kinda appealing, but isn't exactly what I expected. It looks exactly like a Dare/Voyager hybrid.

i dont know why but i like it.. i mean, if you wanted to run music while hanging out you can put the speaker on, if your a gamer put the controller on, or if you need a physical keypad you have that option as well, different so i like it

this phone is great if you're a girl and carry around a purse everywhere. I can't go around everywhere carrying the case, the speakers, the keyboard, the game control pad, and whatever else they have wherever I go. Are they all going to fit in my back pocket? Or maybe I should decide what I am going to use before I leave the house. "Well let's see, today I think I might need to use the control pad while I'm waiting in line so I'll just leave the case and keyboard at home since I won't need to do a lot of texting and I don't think I'll drop my phone today."

It's actually a lot better looking than I thought it would be, and a better idea than I thought it would be. I just wish the keyboard, game pad, speakers, and Wi-Fi attachment were all one piece (where the actual keyboards, etc. popped out, not the whole attachment), with the QWERTY on one side and the speakers and gaming buttons on the other or something like that. A nicer looking case would be cool, too. Although I do like the fact that you can still answer/deny calls with it on.

if only the iPhone had a similar attachment, it might be worth owning.

Love the phone. Was thinking on getting a voyager, but now I want to wait. I hope they come out with a better looking case. I'm skeptical...switching over from ATT..had a blackberry, and have an iphone.
