Quick Voice looks like S Voice, which looks like Siri. Compare Siri and Quick Voice, though, and there's less similarity. I guess they alter each just enough so that the other won't sue.

When will LG stop embarrassing themselves? They got left behind in a bad way when the Android revolution rolled through the mobile world, and now they're struggling to stay relevant. They should scale back and focus more on basic phones. It's what they've always been best at.
Seriously, all of their smartphones are unreliable pieces of s**t.

how is LG struggling to stay relevant? LG is a company of many firsts mind you
First LTE Phone with HD Screen - LG Optimus LTE (aka Nitro HD, Spectrum, Optimus True HD LTE)
First Phone With Wireless Charging- LG Revolution
First Phone With A Full Capacitive Touch Screen- LG PRADA 1
First Dual Core Phone- LG Optimus 2x
First Glassesless 3D Phone- LG Optimus 3D
First LTE Tablet- LG Optimus Tab LTE
First Phone with 2MP Front Facing Cam- LG Optimus Black
First Quad Core Phone- LG Optimus 4x (LG announced it first, so the title goes to them. however the first commercially available quad core phone would be the HTC One X)
First LTE Phone with 4:3 Aspect Ratio: LG Optimus Vu
First Phone With 2GB of RAM- LG Optimus LTE 2
First NFC Capable LTE Phone- LG Optimus Tag
LG Display is also the first to come up with a 5'' screen with a pixel density of 440PPI
sure, not all of these devices might be great or fantastic, but many of them we have yet to see/try (eg Optimus Vu, Optimus LTE 2. Optimus Tag and Optimus 4x) but LG's new phones are more stable software wise. and if you got their older phones (like e O3D) and have constantly updated it to the latest firmware, you would have noticed they are now more stable too. LG is definitely not playing catch up nor is it trying to stay relevant. LG IS relevant to the mobile industry and if it weren't for them, we won't have so many awesome features/capabilities on our mobile devices today. this company, deserves more respect than it is actually getting

Good one bro, I couldn't agree more. They are definitely pioneers, and have great ideas. Plus LG phones are getting better with each new device. People should really look past their former image...

exactly! LG deserves so much more respect and credit

Okay, so they've had some firsts. However, the phones they sell on the US carriers have all been pretty awful-or brought nothing really compelling to the table. Their skin looks like a cheap copy of Touchwiz, and when we've sold their phones, they've gotten returned the most with issues.
Most of their best stuff never makes it to the US, and even then, it'd take a lot for me to trust their quality control. In the years I've dealt with cell phones, I've seen "high end" LG phones have the most issues out of any other major manufacturer, bar none.

i think the problem is with carriers. LG can offer them their phones but if the carrier decides to sell it or not is a different thing

I'd be much more interested in LG if they just improved their build-quality. I think their new lock-screen is the coolest I've seen on an Android device to date.
Also, while they have a big feature-phone presence in the US, their smartphone presence here is extremely lacking compared to Samsung, HTC, and Moto. Most LG Android phones currently available in the States are low-to-mid-range devices, which I think lends to their perceived lack of credibility.

I like how you think my personal experience is completely invalid because yours is different. My Note does very well for me. The camera and screen are excellent, data speeds are fast, the OS is usually smooth, and the options are pretty good.
My only complaint is that for a gig of ram, only 732 is listed as actually available, and over 400 is usually being used by the OS and background apps. And unlike Moto's app management, I can't see what specifically is chewing up that memory.
It still runs fine, but it's a little jarring to see that represented in the task manager.

yours is 732? mine is 832.. but 630+ is always used -_- tbh i was fine with it and i liked it before updating it to ICS, that's when all e disappointments started. so if you havent updated it, dont do it. the battery life goes down a lot, RAM usage goes up, lock screen goes haywire sometimes and it lags a lot more..i'e sent it for repair twice! im still waiting for collection.. when i went to the service center, most of e ppl there were G Note and G S3 users.. and all the G Note users seem to be running ICS

i didn tell 4x will beat every smartphone out there but it will be hard for others to beat it and thats why you cant underestimate it so cheaply like u did...My S3 also kicks almost every smartphone out there but that doesn mean that others are "pieces of s**t"...and talk about your note i guess apart from screen size 4x beats your note in terms of performance considering the fact that you r happy with it as my lil brother happy with a nokia 5800.

Not sure...what is this voice command fuss...why everyone is so eager to jump...its only of importance while driving (less distraction)...otherwise...It feels weird talking to a mobile app :)

When android already provides plethora of homescreens and widgets, i see personal voice assistant as nothing but a waste of time.
it has great use on iOS as it already lacks those specific android features but android seriously doesn't need all this extra stuff......

Just because apple has it doesn't mean that you need to follow it. APPLE IS NOT THE LEADER OF THE SMARTPHONE!!!!
