LG unveils the Mini GD880, the smallest 3.2
LG recently released the Pop GD510, touting it as the smallest 3-inch phone. We liked the little beast, mainly because of its good looks (it was somehow short of additional features). Now it seems the manufacturer has decided to launch a similar offering, but sporting some nice specs, so that it can appeal to the more tech-savvy users out there. The LG Mini GD880 has succeeded the design language of the Pop, although it looks as if it will be slightly more angular. Similarly to how the LG Pop GD510 was introduced, the LG Mini GD880 is said to be the smallest 3.2” phone. In addition, it will have 3G support, Wi-Fi, 5MP camera and GPS. Other goodies the Mini will deliver will be push email, Social Network Connect, which should be an application of some kind that will allow you to stay in touch with your online friends, Social Network Feed, which will provide you with online updates of your friends, and Social Address Book that will show your contacts and their updates. We don’t know if it will fully substitute the traditional phonebook, or it will be a separate app.

The LG Mini GD880 will arrive at European stores in March, but pricing information is not available at this moment.
