LG to start producing those retina screens for the iPad mini next month

Who wants an iPad mini with a retina screen? We could certainly use one, but it looks like we'll have to wait a bit more. And while we can't be sure just when those retinized minis are going to start flying off the shelves, we can at least enjoy the numerous leaks that are hitting our inbox on a daily basis now...

Accept it: iPad mini with Retina Display will blow the competition out of water.

if you put ipad mini and ipad mini *retina display* side by side, 90% of consumers wouldn't know the difference.
They will just upgrade, because it has the name "retina" next to it. I know soo many people who says apple is the best because it has retina display, and if I asked them what is retina they reply with "its the best screen in the world"

If you put 2 samsung phones side to side, then what would those people say? :)

yes some look the same, but samsung has different size from 4 inch to 5.5 inch so there are more choices for the consumers. Then there is the features, that's where Samsung excels, you will know the difference from the low, mid and high end in terms of features and what it can do.
Now what can you say about apple products? Basically they all look the same and has the same features. Look at iphone 4 and iphone 5? the main feature you see from the iphone 5 is the new 5th row. At least with Samsung they provide different and unique features.

You forgot the 8 megapixel camera, decreased thickness and weight, beautiful aluminum construction, slightly enlarged display, panorama mode, 3D maps, twice the ram and a new processor. Aren't these more important than the 5th row of icons?

those new features are to be expected in a smartphone, such as increase megapixel, slightly larger display, new processor and dont get me started about panorama mode, which most android phones had back in 2010. Iphone is just playing catchup and bringing nothing new in the smartphone race.
I can name soo many things that samsung has, that no other manufacturers have.

Samsung is wayyyy ahead of apple. way wayyyy ahead!!! Even in the tablet market now! The note 10.1 2014 edition is by far better than the ipad 4 retina. That might just be ahead of the nexus 10 and the sony xperia 10 for the best tablet in the world. But it will probably be expensive.

I hate Apple to the core and will NEVER EVER buy Apps from them.
But depending on how the future of Jailbreaking will be...I might get a Retina iPadMini...in that way I will never drool over Apple exclusive apps, ever again.
