LG to make flexible OLED displays for use in mobile devices too, says they'll be "unbreakable"

LG is prepping a 3.5-Gen OLED plant to go into production of displays with plastic substrates, aka flexible OLEDs. Now, if you read our interview with Michael G. Helander straight from the research lab, he says the biggest advantage is that such screens will be thinner, more durable, and less prone to impact than the current ones with glass substrates, rather than the whole "bending like Gumby" thing we envision for phones with them...
