Following suit with other companies from the mobile industry, LG intends to launch its own application store, but in South Korea only. At least for now. We hope that if everything goes well, the manufacturer will eventually make it accessible to all other users too. The reason behind it can be perfectly illustrated with the statement of LG’s CEO of Mobile Communications, Ahn Seung-kwon, who said “The key thing to success for smart-phones depends on content.” Quite right.
In addition, it looks like LG also has plans to roll out an Android-powered smart phone later this year. However, we do still do not have details on this project.
