The LG G Flex may have been the second phone with a curved screen to be announced (second to the Galaxy Round), but it might become the first curved phone to hit the global market. While nothing specific is announced just yet, an LG spokesperson has confirmed for us that a global announcement for the LG G Flex is indeed "in the works"...

darn... Again, i expect a flexible 1080p display. Don't LG already have one of those? Why won't they just put one in? Every aspect of the phone already looks awesome. Does the phonemaker handbook say that the must ruin the phone in some way? A 6-inch display warrants a 1080p display

Yeah hey! they should just add a 1080p display cos its that easy. actually, they didnt do any research to come up with a flexible display. one day they just made one. and then they deliberately put in a 720p display to "ruin the phone." Why dont you make a 1080p flexible display yourself then?

Then at the risk of causing a firestorm, I say maybe LG isn't as good as Samsung after all. Can't make a 1080p bendy display with all their high-tech prowess.
Wolverine phone: check
Flexible battery and slightly flexible body: check
1080p display: no can't do. Much beyond what we can handle

Samsung's display is more impressive than that of the LG G Flex, but in all honesty, Samsung:
"Wolverine phone: check
1080p display: check
Flexible battery and slightly flexible body: no can do. MUCH beyond what we can handle."
I'd rather have a slightly lesser impressive display, than a totally, unreasonably curved phone. The LG G Flex is curved to fit the face, which directly addresses the voiced complaints of larger "phablets" being difficult to speak/hear due to the size. The Samsung Galaxy Round is curved on the sides, which helps the ergonomics of the phone in absolutely no way. Oh, but you can flip to the previous/next song faster.

The lg flex wins hands down in terms of design and features of course. The Galaxy round doesn't impress me anyway.
Just saying that LG simply did not offer its best. A 1080p is simply expected in a phone such as this.
Just a side note, i think the LG flex will make your pocket stick out if you put it in your front pocket
