Love all the old Qualcomm chips that LG is using. I guess this is one reason OnePlus can't make more than a couple thousand phones... LG has cornered the market on old chips!

Using old chips is not exclusive to LG. And using more high end chips doesn't mean OnePlus is making a loss. They just need to gain customer's devotion to the brand

What OnePlus needs to do is to accept pre-orders (with payment) and start making phones for real.

Otherwise the more time that passes with OnePlus using gimmick after gimmick to hype their phones, make more hunger games, etc., instead of making phones in quantity, the more people will end up going elsewhere.

You don't know for sure they haven't made a couple phones already. They already fixed the software and invitations are now open. Seems more likely they have phones ready for grabs at this point.

Invitations are not open. They just sent out an email saying they were going to make 2500 phones available via their latest gimmick, "Storm of Invites", where you have to do five things to be eligible for some sort of lottery for an invite.

Last time I looked, there were over 280,000 people who had signed up for these 2500 invites.

All this endless BS instead of accepting pre-orders. Scamming people must be deep in this company's core values.

That video was so freaking bad. If it wasn't featuring a tablet, I would have thought it was straight out of the 80's.

G Pad 8.0 baffles my mind, in a bad way. Compared to last years G Pad 8.3, the resolution got much lower, the device got fatter and still packs a smaller battery. What happend LG? I thought new versions were supposed to be better than the old.

People are loyal to a company as long as they are innovating
