I am really looking forward to LG Optimus LTE2. I want LG to be one of the top if not the top manufacturer. But the question is not if LG can beat samsung? The question is that Is Samsungs lead over LG Too Great to overcome?

samsung should just buy out lg and then corner to screen market completely

You don't know what might happen. Look at apple now, it's slowly weakening due to android.

LG has the potential, they need to sort out their software side first though (esp in updating), once they got that straight, LG will be amazing and might again be on top. it doesn't matter if Samsung is in the lead by a huge margin now, eventually their sales will start dropping. just look at Apple now, their iPhone sales have dropped. it is still high, but dropping
