This is one main reason I'm so envious about android... They are so much affordable to get an eye catching looking phone with reasonable spec like LG does :(

Btw, well done LG

2. Izzy_V posted on 09 Dec 2012, 22:43 2

lol but they'll never be as good as apple products. :)

3. wendygarett posted on 09 Dec 2012, 22:52 13

Oh come on, I'm giving the credit here tho...

4. Izzy_V posted on 09 Dec 2012, 23:04

Undeserved credit.

8. PapaSmurf posted on 10 Dec 2012, 00:03 6

You're one of those people who only give credit where it's due if it has Apple's name slapped to it huh?

This guy is just wanna criticize me tho... He is not actually love Apple and I can tell you that :)

Too bad my interwebz sarcasm and irony skills haven't reached a level high enough to where even the most incompetent of PA's users will be able to know when I use it. :P

Oh well.

Any high end Android phone is, at least, as good as an iphone.

LG has stepped up its game and SS is nervous.

LG is the 2nd company behind Sony to challenge SS dominance in mobile.

Samsung is nervous because LG's series of 4 phones have sold a quarter of what their flagship phone has? Gimme a break. I'm sure they're shaking in the board room right now.

Do you understand what the word "momentum" means?

Things in tech are moving very fast and they do not stand still.

23. g2a5b0e posted on 10 Dec 2012, 13:35

I have college degrees in psychology & linguistics. I also took quite a few physics classes when I wanted to be an engineer. So, yes, I know exactly what the word "momentum" means. Doesn't mean I agree any more with your statement.

LG just needs to win me over on software updates because the Optimus G is the real deal. Style, performance, UI, screen... best phone I've ever used. Please just don't screw me on Jelly Bean, id rather keep the nice UI features

9. PapaSmurf posted on 10 Dec 2012, 00:04 2

I'm not a fan of the UI... It's cartoony in my opinion. Everything else is great, especially the quick memo feature.

13. Raymond_htc posted on 10 Dec 2012, 01:07

Well the new optimus UI is a great improvement from its older Ui.. look at the UI running on Optimus 2x and compare it to the new ui in all the new LG phones, starting from the L series.

19. redmd posted on 10 Dec 2012, 05:57

I like the LG UI. but nature UI is just more polished.

14. Raymond_htc posted on 10 Dec 2012, 01:07 2

I am proud to say that, My LG optimus L5 is one of the 10 million L-series phones :)

15. Thephonegeek posted on 10 Dec 2012, 01:50 2

Not bad. Infact it is good. Where high voltage phones failed L series did cool.

16. loken posted on 10 Dec 2012, 04:27

l series meaning looser series

18. redmd posted on 10 Dec 2012, 05:56

Good job LG. hopefully update is on the way too.

20. lzsbleach posted on 10 Dec 2012, 06:39

Good job LG, I actually will chose an LG over an HTC phone now, there UI reminds a little of samsungs, and I was impressed when I saw the review for the Optimus G

21. xfire99 posted on 10 Dec 2012, 09:09

Now all know why LG Nexus 4 ar always out of stocks.

I have heard of issues with the L3 model. So my advice...for a budget android phone try only samsung or sony.
