LG moving to adopt MeeGo

Nokia might have virtually stepped away from MeeGo, but while many saw this as the beginning of the end for the Linux-based platform, a recent turn of events proves that MeeGo is alive and doing well. Mobile phone makers like LG are looking into MeeGo-based devices…

I know next to nothing about the development of MeeGo, except that it was going to be Nokia's OS for premium devices until they jumped ship. LG is a big enough Corporation they can fund the development of this, and seem to be really trying to put out quality devices. Maybe internationally first, before here in the States? Anyone smarter than me know how close it is as far as development?
