LG does a 180 degree turn and says Optimus One will get Android 2.3

Two days after an message on LG's Facebook page suggested that the LG Optimus One was being shut out of receiving the Gingerbread upgrade for lack of a 1GHz chip, LG has changed its mind and the whole alphabet soup of a series will be upgraded to Android 2.3...

Do we get to start the anxious anticipation of when 2.3 will release for each phone? Samsung Fascinate only has 2.1 on it right? This surprises me when Google Nexus S by Samsung has 2.3.

So stupid how im sure the Transform wont get it. I would have got the Optimus if Lg would have put a flash on the damn camera! Well ill get 2.2 at least hopefully. God seems like they have a new Os every week!
