seriously this site just bashes anything VZW, the 8350 is a great handset, it sells a ton and barely ever gets returned. Why not 16 gigs??? Maybe because this phone is marketed towards people NOT looking for a multi media device, so 16 gigs would be necessary? Maybe this lame site will learn to be impartial.....or change its name .... amazing how this site has changed over the years.

I could not agree more. Its just stupid/ignorant. I would point out, however, that they do stuff like that just to piss people like you and I off and get a reaction. I would prefer to deny them their satisfaction, but sometimes it reaches new heights of ludicrousness, such as announcing a new color of the ***** to much fanfare when its just some kid in china painting one and throwing it on ebay.

it didnt seem like they were really bashing it. also looking at the phone it looks solid, the keyboard and screen inside look great. if it gets good battery and signal we may have a new 8300 on our hands

Phone Arena, regarding phones on Verizon Wireless and your comment about the vx8350. Please pick up a copy of Consumer Reports ( Jan. 2009 ), turn to page 36, and look at the second highest rated phone on Verizon service. Get back at me on this one. I like the fact that LG is using Dashboard software with its devices now. It changes the interface; but then again, pretty soon, someone will be complaining about how THAT looks too. About the only thing I wished they had done with this phone is increase the camera's resolution. Unless it's designed to play movies on it, I don't think it needs to be capable of holding 16 gigs of data either. Eight truly is enough. Also, I hope LG made it easier to open from the bottom ( that's what I didn't like about the 8350 ).

I used to work for Verizon and the 8350 is not a good phone. The functionality of the device was perfectly fine for the mid-range user, but the hinge on the phone cracked all the time, and was so faulty, it got added to the list of known manufacturer defects. It also had the speakers for the device on the backside of the phone. This was not a good idea. The phone is meant to be set down on it's back, but then the speaker phone was muffled. The phone just wasn't made well. I love LG products, but they missed big-time with the 8350. I hope the 8360 isn't a glorified paper weight.

"it got added to the list of known manufacturer defects" You mean it was reported that ONE user had that issue. That is not for reference for defects, simply a report database.
