LG officially announced the LG Prada phone, based on the KE850 – a small glossy black phone with just a few keys and large touch display with black&white interface, using Flash UI. LG claims this is completely touch-screen mobile phone, due to the way it is used, just like Apple claims for its iPhone. It packs video and audio player, and multitasking allows for listening to music while using the messaging functions. The Prada phone has 2-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens and features USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0. Measuring 3.88 x 2.1 x 0.47 inches (98.8x54x12 mm), its main drawback is the radio which is only tri-band (900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM for Europe and Asia, just as it was with the KG800 Chocolate.

LG Prada phone is expected to launch at the end of February in Europe at a price of 600EUR (approx. USD$780).
