LG Optimus L7 now available for UK pre-orders

Earlier this month, we told you that the stylish LG Optimus 7 had started rolling out across major European and Asian cities. Now, the model is available to be pre-ordered in the U.K. from Clove for a price of 238.80 ($379.60 USD). No shipping date was mentioned for the phone, which uses the Korean manufacturer's "Floating Mass Display Technology" for a slimmer appearance. The latter makes it appear as though the screen is floating as the display is close to the glass surface.The handset is also on the thin side, making for a real nice looking piece of kit.

The LG Optimus L7 is the top of the "L" line and is equipped with a 4.3 inch TFT display sporting WVGA resolution and a pixel density of 217 ppi. Under the hood is a rather uninspiring single-core 1GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor with the Adreno 200 handling graphic chores. 512MB of RAM is on board while the microSD slot has a capacity of 32GB of storage. The 5MP rear-facing shooter can snap a picture in just .6 seconds using AF and there is a VGA front-facing camera. Video Capture is done in VGA resolution at 30fps. The LG Optimus L7 is 8.7mm thin and comes out of the box with Android 4.0 installed.
