if the 8 mega pixel camera LG packs the exact same specs and features of the 13 mega pixel one but with a lower price tag.......then thats a steal for sure!

it exactly what i was tryna say above........if the 8 mp cam is cheaper then its a steal because i doubt the difference in mega pixels will make a difference....:)

why do companies dont release the international versions in us? like quad core one x and sIII? what is the reason for that??

Well for those two examples it was because of LTE compatibility. Neither the Exynos or the Tegra 3 could connect with LTE for whatever reason. For other phones,,,,,, I'm not to sure.

Because in order to have LTE compatibility both the one X (Tegra) and the SIII (Exynos) need to add a communcation chip.
That has two drawbacks:
1) Increases the bulk of the phone (when not destroys completely the design of the internal parts)
2) It consumes more energy that when using an integrated circuit in the SoC for communication (Qualcomm does that)
So in order to overcome those issues they HTC and Samsung use a Qualcomm SoC in the US.

LG should wield more influence and not let carriers decide which version to have. Pull a Samsung and get them to support the one you want to put it.

It would be good if LG released what kind of sensors they'd use for both cameras. In many cases, 8MP isn't too big of a downgrade and the fact that the 13MP sensor is bulging, could lead to possible damage

If the 8MP sensor has larger pixels to make up for the MP deficiency, give me the 8MP version. 13MP will have more noise and poorer low-light perf.
