Don't know about his (her?) past but this comment isn't too bad imo - no need to call him out with 4 replies...

Regarding the phone I have to say that it looks quite good. From the pictures it looks like it should feel higher class than the Galaxy Nexus does right now. Still I would prefer it be a little more ergonomically formed - I like that curveture on the GNEX and Nexus S.

Anyways 4.7 is too big for me - would like this one in the 4 to 4.3 form factor. That's why I'm still hoping for that rumored Nexus program - to have more choices with stock Android.

You should be looking at the Razr M then; 4.3" display and with Motorola's very minimalistic UI, it might as well be stock! And since Google owns Motorola now they should be getting updates much quicker now. Motorola's new devices really are technically Nexus.

And they promised those who buy their new Razr series, if they don't get Jelly Bean by December, you get $100 out of Moto's pocket. So, worst case scenario, you get $100 and have to wait maybe another month or two for the update.

I have an Optimus 1 and an HTC Salsa
I dont feel like spending big bucks on devices which in today's date become obsolete so fast.

I still think its a bit ugly, but its definitely high on my list of possible next phones. Unless sammy pulls a whopper of a G-Nex2 out.

Its reeeeeally hard to argue with the bulk of the specs + nexus updates.

I like being right most of the time. :) I said LG would pull out the monster specs for the Nexus since they didnt have a flagship of any merit to worry about killing sales from. :)

Yup, you definitely got it right Remix. Unless Sammy pulls a miracle out of the Galaxy Nexus 2, LG is going to be on top when it comes to the Nexus; or maybe HTC will with the rumored Nexus 5, but that doesn't seem to have much ground in terms of being a Nexus.

The very first Nexus device was made by HTC.

That's some ground.... foundation even.

That does indeed set some sort of a precedent for HTC, but not much. Yes, HTC made the first Nexus, but does that mean they would make some random return almost 3 years later? There were 2 leaks stating that HTC *might* be making a Nexus; the initial rumor that there would be Nexus from multiple OEMs, and the rumor of the HTC Nexus 5. Not much to go on.

Won't this actually kill sales of the LG Optimus G (you know, their flagship) on Sprint and AT&T?

Not if they have better specs..which THEY DO if the LG Nexus rumors are correct.

this is a 6 month old prototype, so i wouldn't worry much about the design. i 100% agree with you, even if this is the only Nexus device for this year, i don't think any other OEM would've done a better job. the spec sheet is hard if not impossible to top. i am buying.

Looks great, but I still don't like the bedazzled glass look... Hopefully they change the pattern to something similar to the AT&T version of the Optimus G; otherwise, I'm getting a case lol. I don't need my phone to sparkle LG!

Actually the back looks more like Sprint's Optimus G.

A phone in which a great android software is embedded in a meager specs... 8 GB internal memory?? Are they nuts? Even my f*cking dumb phone has 16 GB memory and and external memory slot... I am really pissed off!! Yet another phone trapped in 8 MP camera land.. I will buy other OEMs nexus phone

This is most likely just a testing unit, and will have more available memory options, like 16 and 32 GB, when it releases. Google is trying to push cloud service, so I doubt they would give it a memory slot.

The 8MP camera doesn't bother people much anymore, seeing as though it's most likely made by Sony and will have killer optics.

No dude, nowadays Everyone is making it seem like having a camera with 8 megapixels will always produce better pictures than one with 12 or more mega pixels. Are we all completely forgetting the possibility of a phone with more megapixels and great picture quality? Seems like everyone is making excuses.
Do you still don't get what they are for do you?
losless zoom, oversampling, better low light photos in 8,5,3 mpx... There may be more advantages, but i know these only...
As you said Sony is a top-tier example in camera department.... anyways Android FTW :)
