LG Marquee gets video overview treatment by Sprint
Those who pre-ordered the LG Marquee from Sprint were supposed to have received their shiny new phone on Thursday, as we reported. For those who need more time to make a decision on whether or not to spend $99 and sign a 2-year contract, the device will officially be launched on October 2nd. Looking like the LG Optimus Black's identical twin, the LG Marquee is one of those rare Sprint phones not to have the "4G" title next to its name.

The LG Marquee's main selling point is the extremely bright 700-nit 4-inch NOVA LCD screen with WVGA resolution. Besides that, the .36 inch thin phone offers a single-core 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM on board. A 5MP camera with AF and LED flash is on the back while a 2MP camera is on the front of the handset to use with the pre-installed Qik app. A microSD slot accepts as much as a 32GB card and Android 2.3 drives the model. Swype also is pre-installed out of the box.

Take a gander at the video below and then you will have a few days to decide whether or not you want to spend $99 and lock in 2 years of your life with the LG Marquee.

This phone on Sprint will go almost completely unnoticed. They need to get this on Virgin Mobile and it will be a huge hit and sell like crazy!

I that LG has had previous flaws with phones such as the Rumor touch but it looks like a nice mid-spec phone.

Honestly,

Price is too high. Sprint needs to lower a few phone prices for there stores. We can't compete with Best buy and radio shack when they have these phones for free and ours are 79.99 AFTER REBATE.
