LG K3 just $79.99 at pre-paid carriers Boost and Virgin
Pre-paid carriers Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, both owned by Sprint, are each adding the same new handset to their respective smartphone lineup. The phone is the LG K3, and it can be ordered starting today from Boost and Virgin's online stores for $79.99. Next week, the device will be available inside Boost and Virgin locations.

The LG K3 features a 4.5-inch screen. Under the hood you'll find the Snapdragon 210 SoC with a quad-core 1.1GHz CPU, and the Adreno 304 GPU. 1GB of RAM is inside along with 8GB of native storage (3.1GB available for use). A 5MP camera is on the back of the handset with a front-facing .3MP snapper. Keeping the lights on is a 1940mAh battery and Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

Some of the features found on the LG K3 include the Cheese Shutter which allows you to use voice commands to snap a photo. Gesture Shot lets you take a picture by using your hands, and the Gesture Interval Shot snaps four selfies on a timer set off by a pair of hand gestures. For higher quality selfies, the Selfie Light will provide a soft light around the photo preview.

Boost offers unlimited talk, text and data starting as low as $35 ($30 with auto pay). With this tier, you get 2GB of 4G LTE high-speed data. For $45 ($40 with auto pay) the amount of high-speed data you receive is 5GB. And for $60 a month ($55 with auto pay), you will have unlimited 4G LTE data.

Virgin offers unlimited talk, text and data as well, For $40 a month, the amount of high-speed data you receive is 4GB. Pay $10 a month more, and you'll have a 6GB data cap.
