LG K20 V and Samsung Galaxy J7 V now available from Verizon
A pair of new handsets are now available from Verizon, and let's just say that you won't confuse either for the LG G6 or the Samsung Galaxy S8. Let's start with the LG K20 V. This phone comes with a 5.3-inch IPS screen, carrying a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution. 16GB of  internal storage is on board with 8.9GB available to the user. Those seeking additional storage can access the 2TB capacity microSD slot. On back is a 13MP rear-facing camera. A 5MP front-facing shooter handles selfies and video chats. Keeping the lights on is a 2800mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner unlocks the phone and verifies identity. The LG K20 V is available starting today for $168 ($7 a month over 24 months), or $99.99 with a two-year activation. Those buying the LG K20 V will receive $25 in Google Play Store credit, or a free 32GB microSD card.

The second new phone launching today at Verizon is the Samsung Galaxy J7 V. This handset is equipped with a 5.5-inch, 2.5D rounded glass display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 (HD). Powering the device is a Snapdragon 625 chipset with an octa-core 2.2GHz CPU and the Adreno 506 GPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, along with 16GB of native storage. Those seeking addition storage can access the 256GB capacity microSD slot. A removable (!) 3300mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Quick Charge 3.0 is included. The rear camera weighs in at 8MP, while a 5MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video chats. Qualified Verizon customers can buy the Samsung Galaxy J7 V for $0 down and $10 a month for 24 months. The cash price of the handset is $240.
