LG G2 vs Samsung Galaxy S4 vs HTC One: specs comparison
Without a doubt, however, we know that specs fanatics will be most interested in the CPU/GPU part of this comparison, and what do you know - this is where the LG G2 really shines with its Snapdragon 800 chipset and Adreno 330 GPU. Obviously a class above the others, the G2's quad-core processor is clocked at the staggering 2.26 GHz, which should provide some additional punch compared to the GS4's 1.9 GHz and the One's 1.7 GHz, though we can't think of too many applications that would be able to take advantage of all the horsepower right now. Anyway, it's obvious that the G2 is a smartphone for those who want to be on the bleeding edge of mobile technology. And that Adreno 330 GPU? We're sure it'll have absolutely no problems handling each and every 3D game that comes out in the next one or two years.
A beefy 3000 mAh battery, 13MP camera, 1080p resolution screen, LTE... the G2 just has it all. If you truly care about the specs of your smartphone - we can only imagine how badly you want this phone!

15. PapaSmurf (Posts: 8798; Member since: 14 May 2012)
The same way the Optimus G was suppose to blow the S3 and Note 2 put of the water? Lol get real.

Of what? What new features in software has LG implemented that aren't in the S4 or HTC One?
18. xperiaDROID (banned) (Posts: 5629; Member since: 08 Mar 2013)
13MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization.
24bit, 192kHz audio output.
19. PapaSmurf (Posts: 8798; Member since: 14 May 2012)
13MP / OIS is hardware, not software.
21. xperiaDROID (banned) (Posts: 5629; Member since: 08 Mar 2013)
All I know is the Slide Aside feature. Haven't you heard of that?
24. PapaSmurf (Posts: 8798; Member since: 14 May 2012)
Yeah on the iPad, which I'm pretty sure Apple has a patent on it.
22. AnaheimElectronics (Posts: 1; Member since: 07 Aug 2013)
I don't think using software as a defense for the S4 or HTC One works, considering that the S4's "software" was mostly gimmicks and the HTC One just has Zoe (which is pretty much just for editing photos).

The larger screen and better cpu/gpu cancels that out, battery life will be on par with s4.

Smaller than the current note 2. NOTE 3 is going to kill this. It doesnt even have a

I hope if Google and LG are working together on the Nexus 5 that we may be looking at the basis for it right here!
9. Shatter (Posts: 2031; Member since: 29 May 2013)
The current rumor is the Optimus G2 is what the Nexus 5 will be based off.

Google isn't helping it's OEM partners having cutting edge hardware for 350 USD. This will make it hard for manufacturers to make money with android.
13. tll84 (Posts: 13; Member since: 28 Jul 2012)
why does it seem so impossible to get a top tier android that has a large battery AND microSD? maybe the Galaxy S V?
17. iWinDroid (Posts: 28; Member since: 17 Jul 2013)
w. decacore 5MHz cpu & quad gpu w/ 50mpxel cam rear/ 20front w/ slow mo vid recording. no bezels at all! ehehe! dats d next GS5, still a plastic back cover though :P

and then they can make an active that is waterproof as long as you don't get it wet (gs4 rated IP67= waterproof) and shock proof as long as you don't drop it.
if anyone wants to say Samsung never said waterproof check out their website. they brag about it being IP67. the 7 means waterproof for 30 minutes at 1 meter.
41. Jack58221 (Posts: 132; Member since: 23 Feb 2013)
correction the 7 means water resistant for 3 0 minutes at 1 meter.

Its so obvious that sammy fans are gonna hate this phone. Even people commenting that bigger screen and powerful cpu is gonna compensate for that bigger battery. STFU and learn to clap when you see something awesome and not just hating it for no reasons except for your own weird thoughts.
Accept the fact that this blows everything out, atleast everything out right now. Now I'm waiting for the Note-3 for that amazing fight...!
39. blingblingthing (Posts: 456; Member since: 23 Oct 2012)
I guess they bought the S4 looking to keep the king of the android hill for longer so they're now disappointed.
26. JMartin22 (Posts: 1242; Member since: 30 Apr 2013)
This phone will only enjoy one month of supremacy. Then the Note III will knock it off
29. darkkjedii (Posts: 12334; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
LG brought it with this baby, gorgeous, powerful, and big. Reminds me of...me. +1 LG
32. jamesedward318 (Posts: 99; Member since: 25 Dec 2010)
Forgive my ignorance but I can't really bring myself to actually owning a LG phone. Tv? Yes! Yes! Yes! Phone? No! No! No!
34. Samsungadroidrules (Posts: 104; Member since: 28 Jul 2013)
Still GS4 Rocks! haha. Sorry But I don't like that LG. It seems ahhh, boring.
And oh to other LG Fanboys and Samsung Jealous haters here, Samsung galaxy S2 can even beat that LG believe me. And for sure after 2 months, that desperate trying hard LG G2 will no longer the topic or main topic on every tech/phones sites knowing its Brand and lame Features. hahaha Still waiting for Note 3, i'm sure it will be a blast and awesome! and Samsung jealous haters will have hard time making issues on it! hahaha
35. kaira (Posts: 26; Member since: 12 May 2013)
I believe I made a right choice when i was purchasing my HTC ONE two months ago... I can assure anyone that is a BEAST, pity the marketing department of HTC has to be fired... Still between this LG G2, S4, AND HTC ONE, I will still choose the HTC ONE... For obvious reason... I'm no fan boy though, just proud that ANDROID is providing us consumers with OPTIONS to choose from! PEACE.
