The LG G2 is one of the most anticipated phones of the year; with a spec sheet that rivals any other top-shelf phone, the LG G2 also features some clever design work by the Korean OEM. With the power button and volume rocker on the back of the phone, the device has a unique look including a clean top without any buttons. All four major U.S. carriers will be offering the phone, and now we have release dates and pricing for the LG G2 on three of them...

This is a really nice phone. I think it would be wise to wait and see what the Nexus 5 will bring.

One of the rare instances Verizon releases a phone before att.

Truly one of the rare instances. Perhaps the only instance to date?
On other news, I am thinking the G2 is the sleeper Android phone of the fall.

Agreed but what is the point

But so far, I haven't seen where the Note 3 has OIS for the camera. Nothing like jaggy videos or blurry cam stills. Maybe the blurry cam gives a sense of motion to the pic?
It is a shame that Sammy decided to pass on OIS for the Note 3.

I did not know that.. That really is a deal breaker for me.

Me too. There is some sort of digital stabilization, but if that means you have to hold the phone still until the GPS sensor senses no movement, that is a total FAIL.

dont they have smart stabilization or something like that?

That is the digital stabilization I was referring to in my earlier post. What digital stabilization is, IDK.

At that full price its pretty attractive. Sony would be smart to price theirs this price or risk losing potential customers. I'm very fond of the UI on both

This is just like every smartphone from LG. It comes with a nice screen and the newest processor but is always forgotten 3 months later.

Question is, will LG keep on par with updates like other manufacturers? That is the 'tell all, be all.'

Saying the note 3 is better than the G2 is pure ignorance. While its total opinion, it's also so obvious. Go ahead bash the rear button placement and look stupid doing so. Go ahead and bash the UI when it's a cleaner version of touch wiz. This phone has amazing features. The most useful I've seen on a phone. It packs everything a true premium flagship should. Samsung is a great company and the Note 3 in my opinion was a much needed refresh. That said, it's a refresh. G2 brings the first true premium phone next to HTC. I didn't see this coming from LG. I never really kept up with them. Nexus devices and such. Never thought stock android looked good to be honest idk why. That said the nexus 5 will pretty much be this minus rear back buttons, why would I want that.... The button placement is genius and so are the short cuts.
Stop hating LG #nuffsaid

You neglected to mention OIS and probably better pic quality (less noise in low light pics + sharper pics) from the G2, if initial feedback s holds up in a head-to-head comparo between the Note 3 and the G2. I am quite impressed with LG.

LG and HTC lag on updates. I dont know...maybe its verizon's fault.
