LG seriously.... do something unique of your own..
design: looks like s4, in fact all sammy's phones
features: sammy (UI) + sony (small apps) + nokia (double tab)
makes you look cheap ya know?
oo you did one thing unique: the buttons on the back LOLA

I'd prefer to have all these features in a phone. Why settle for one of these features when you can have all of them. Every brand copies one another, they're trying to get ahead of the pact by offering multiple great features even if not all were developed by themselves.

Get your facts right kid! LG had a smart case featuring a smart window for it's Spectrum 2 on Verizon well before the GS4 even launched. Looks like your beloved sammy copied LG on this one!

Dude, dude, look.. All Smartphones today have a screen that dominates the front, and yes you are a sammy fan. Small apps = sony? MAN, I do those on my APEX launcher since 2012. So i copied sony?? Nokia= Double Tap? YO GOTTA BE KIDDING MEH. 3rd party launchers have double tapping as gestures. Gonna say ADW or something else copied the finnish company?? Sammy= UI? LOOOOL Biggest JOKE. That's one of the more generic Ui I've ever seen. LG did spice up the looks and the notification shade, as well as offering multiple THEMES. Did LG copy? N0. The buttons on the back? Yeah.. it's really Useful. Imagine you are listening to songs. You are lazy to fish the phone outta your pocket and adjust the volume. That's when the back volume controls kick in.
Hope i did knock some SENSE into you, buddy.

that's one of the dumbest things i've ever heard. u can enjoy one of the features on each of those phones, or u can enjoy all of those features in one phone.

It's a sponsored article, maybe he just posted what LG gave PA to, so they might not have put their hands on the G2 yet.

Whats the deal with the white bar from the bottom? Is that the soft-keys?
5. Jurdiales (Posts: 115; Member since: 10 Oct 2012)
Nevermind... I already saw it, didn't like it, it's better white buttons on black background...

lg gives you options to change that. you can change the order of the soft keys, add more soft keys, change the background color of the soft key background, and the transparency.

Why do they continue using plastic? At least Motorola used a Kevlar backing on their phones.
15. McLTE (Posts: 689; Member since: 18 Oct 2011)
Hate to break it to you, but Plastic will be a material used until the end of time.
I don't want a heavy phone made out of metal.
Yes, Moto uses kevlar and it's sexy.. but I can promise you, as soon as ANYONE else follows suit, people will be screaming COPY!!!!
Plastic is fine, I just want the manufacturers to stop using GLOSSY plastic. Put some texture on it!

Also, I hate to break it to you, but a lot of materials you might not think are plastic actually are. They'll have other fancy names etc. but its all the same.
The nexus used/uses a soft touch plastic and people love it. People don't like the S4 because they chose a showy glossy/sticky material rather than a subtle one with a unique texture.

Yeah I know that. Mxyzptlk was talking about plastic in general though, so I was addressing that point.
I know LG used the glossy kind for their phone, and to be honest I don't like it all that much either. I like a more subtle and non-reflective body, but I guess you can't have the perfect phone.
Even if I didn't know it used a glossy plastic there are pictures of the phone everywhere. I would've noticed regardless, but thanks for telling me the obvious.

With Moto and LG joining HTC in lack of expandable memory Samsung has an easy path to continue their dominance.

Your comment is ignorant. If you are a true techy and you truly love Android you would know devices with only internal memory run smoother than those with SD slots. You would also know that Android provides you more than enough free cloud storage with such apps as Google Play Music and Picasa. Why worry about an SD slot if all you need is your Gmail username and password. SD cards can become corrupt which cause you to lose everything, yet Google provided cloud storage keeps your content safe. Learn something first, then you can comment.

i know we cant escape the Big Brother, but with this PRISM thing folks would be quite wary of storing stuff on the cloud!
