LG G Flex gets November 12th release date in Korea

The LG G Flex, LG's curved handset, will be launched in Korea starting on November 12th; with a curve on the top and bottom of the handset, the LG G Flex really does flex when pressure is applied to it as we showed you with a 14 second video. The phone is priced at 999,900 Korean Won ($940 USD). Next month, the device is expected to launch on Orange France...

That back-button placement really is going to be the new standard for all their phones? Yuck. As for curved displays; I'll just wait and see what the second generation phones of this archetype bring. That's usually where a lot of detrimental issues are ironed out and more useful utilities are added.

The biggest part that bothers me about curved display is its awkwardness when placed down on a flat surface.

Its probably off-contract price. Even if it isn't, there are some curious people who would pay that much. I personally would wait for some reviews to see if its worth my money at all.

Of course it's the off-contract price. Have you ever heard of a phone that costs almost $1000 on contract?

is the samsung galaxy round flexible as the lg flexible is? no way. cmon lg, show sammy how to do flexible phones.
