LG G Flex 2 could bend up to 90 degrees

0. phoneArena 06 Dec 2013, 17:13 posted on

The first couple curved display devices to hit the market have been somewhat disappointing. Samsung's Galaxy Round offers curved glass with no flexibility, and nothing really interesting about it. The LG G Flex has a flexible display and slightly flexibly glass, but again nothing really interesting overall with the device. But, there is a new rumor about the G Flex 2 that gets a bit closer...

While I'm all for unbreakable displays, I'm not understanding curved displays. Is your tv on the wall curved? Is your laptop, or tab curved? I believe this is just another fad. Remember 3d phones?

Oh and we are back to having the big bulge in our pocket again. The device is over 12mm because of this curve in space taken up.

Visually, the curve shape looks sexy and I really like to own one. Sadly, but it has no practical pursose at all no matter how hard I think of something.

Isn't 90 degrees overkill?
