LG Dare on sale for $99
The price of the  touch screen LG Dare has been cut to $99 by online retailer Wirefly. The price cut apparently comes in response to AT&T's decision to sell refurbished 8 GB iPhones at the same price. Both deals require signing up for a new 2-year contract (the LG device is a Verizon Wireless exclusive) and unlike the iPhone deal, you will receive a brand spanking new unit from Wirefly.

At the time of the Dare's release last summer, it was considered to be Big Red's closest iPhone imitator despite not being a smartphone. The device features a 3.2MP camera with video capture, a full HTML browser, a proximity sensor and an accelerometer.

This price is NOT a Verizon price. Verizon Website and the stores have the phone at $179 with a $50.00 mail in rebate or the direct on line discount making the phone a total of $129.00 plus tax which is about $34. and a 2 years contract. you get the $99 only if you buy it from wirefly, which they will charge you other things as well, and at that point may have issues if their is anything worng with the phone since you did not buy it from Verizon directly, I am not sure how they would deal with replacing it at that time. I know that when I bought a phone from an Authorized delar and had issues with the phone it was very hard to deal with verizon. but any time I bought something from verizon, I have had the best C.S. and Tech Support and had them replace phones for me several times without any issues. YES the phone is great, we have one and we love it, we paid the $179 at the time when it was originaly $229. and YES I still believe it was worth every cent sepnt.
