yeah I agree. But I have really high standards of my phones. Everybodey in my school who has it loves the voyager, but I feel like the voyager is an inferior phone. I was disappointed b the touch capabiliters. The mobile tv channels kept changing. (Live espn changed to a radio station with no video image. it was just a radio station. The internet was so slow to move aaround. I move my finger down and sometiems it wouldn't move. I hacked my phone and put games on it and drawing tools but they were so slow. whenever I let someone see my phone, they always opened ti because it was too confusing and too unresponsibe using the touch. The only thign i still really like is the keyboard. I love how the keys are so room andy enough space inbetween each key. But I feel like I'll have a little more freedom since the iphone will let me add third party apps that I choose. I left AT&T for Verizon since 6th grade (right now I'm going to 11th). I was the first one in my family to go to Verizon and I'm not too sure if I want to be the first to leave (especially back to AT&T). But I rather go to AT&T and be satisfied with a phone, than having to keep changing phoens every six months in Verizon. The only phone I've been satisfied with was my lg vx6000 back in 6th grade. At that time, camera phones were new and the 6000 did everything i wanted to do and more. But I've never found a phone that I loved more than the 6000. I just don't know if the Dare will do that. I was over excited for the Voyager. and the hype turned out to be for nothing (for me, not for others).

Look at this link from a past article on this site: http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/More-images-of-the-LG-Dare-and-to-be-released-on-June-26th-article- a_2885.html If you look at the middle picture on this page you can see it's on a text screen and is on T9. If you look to the right of that you will see icons, one that looks like a keyboard (QWERTY texting) and one that has a picture of a pen (handwriting recognition). So it has T9, a full keyboard and handwriting recognition.

Re pix... Dare has a microSD slot. I'm sure you'll be able to save pix (at the original resolution) to your microSD card and xfer to your computer to save. That capability is what sold me on the E815 way back. Pix and vids can be saved to the card or the phone's memory and can be moved between those locations. They can be sent via SMS from either place except for vids longer than 30 seconds which are saved to the card and can't be sent in a text message. AFAIK, this is pretty standard on Verizon phones now. If the Dare has enough juice, it might be able to email larger pix. The E815 can text them all but I've noticed the larger pix can't be emailed. One thing to watch out for - even if your microSD has plenty of room left, the phone's OS might only allow a certain number of files to be saved. When it quits saving, it doesn't tell you it just...stops saving and you lose whatever you're trying to save. So offload frequently.

I can't believe I really just read all of that. I'm excited for the new Verizon LG Dare. About time they gave in and tried to come out with something "similar" to the iPhone. Only thing that sucks is it doesn't have WiFi...Verizon should get on that.
