LG Ally to get Froyo upgrade?
It looks like LG is about to serve some Froyo to owners of the Ally. The Korean based company has apparently let the word slip out to Phonedog about the upgrade, although no timeframe was mentioned. The handset currently runs stock Android 2.1 and features a side sliding landscape QWERTY keyboard. Unlike most of the other announced devices that are waiting to upgrade to the new OS build, the Ally is a low to mid-range device with a 3.2 inch display and a 600MHz processor. The Android 2.2 upgrade will bring a little bump in speed, Flash 10.1 support and the ability to store apps on a microSD card to LG Ally users, among other things.

Nice! I can't say i am surprised though. Seems like they want most phones to be upgraded to 2.2 and im happy to see this. I wonder how well the ally will do with full flash, i saw a video of the original droid and it was very laggy. Not sure if it is because of the lack of processor or memory, maybe both.
