AT&T's other "eco-friendly" device, the Samsung Evergreen, has a casing made from 70% recycled materials. Alas, every one we've sold at my store has been subsequently returned. I'm hoping this LG will perform better...

It'll be nice to have a new basic phone for customers to choose from I know a lot of the carriers' non-smartphone lineups are pretty stale, hopefully this is the start of a change for that

AT&T has a pretty varied line of non-smartphones. As a salesperson for an authorized dealer, I see phones come and go, and honestly, the rate isn't dropping. I have a ton of people every day coming in and inquiring about the non-smartphone plans and features.

Why does the back of this thing look so much like the back of the Nokia 3710 to me, but not nearly as decent?
Other than that, this strikes me as a cheap clamshell version of the LG GU295, but with a bigger internal screen.
