Kyocera announces two entry-level phones - K122 and K132

Kyocera has announced two new low-cost handsets - K122 and K132, respectively in candybar and clamshell design. The K122 is an low-end device with only basic features including 800MHz single-band CDMA support, grayscale display and BREW 2.1, while measuring 4.1 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches (105 x 47 x 17 mm) and weighing 2.7 oz (78 g).

The K132 is an entry-level device too but with dual-band CDMA support. The handset features a 65k color 128x128 pixel STN display, a built-in speakerphone, WAP 2.0, polyphonic ringtones, predictive text input and BREW 2.1 support, with dimensions of 3.4 x 1.7 x 0.8 inches (86 x 44 x 21 mm) and weight of 3.3 oz (94 g).
