So, Amazon has just released its new 7-inch Kindle Fire HD and... oh my God, here's the first update! OK, the update probably isn't worth such an excitement, because it isn't even known what it fixes...

I have the first K. Fire. Amazon did a good job of fixing known issues fast. I would buy the new Fire but my fire is in excellent shape.

I have it and love it. As for the first poster who complains about Amazon's eco, big deal. Everyone who buys Apple products buy into their eco as well. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that if that's what you want. I for one love what it gives me. If I buy a regular Android tablet (Nexus 7), then I have to look around for everything I want. Amazon not only makes it easy for me but also provides special deals for me - more if I'm an Amazon Prime member. I also get unlimited cloud storage for the stuff I get from them. So yah, I love my Kindle Fire HD AND all of the Amazon content I get. You get nothing by avoiding the eco's accept the necessity of doing everything for yourself and being able to brag about it. I'll just stick with my fantastic Fire HD with it's not to be beaten audio and fantastic Amazon content thank you very much.
