Justin Long will play Steve Jobs in iSteve |
The parody will be available from the website Funny or Die. The picture will run 60 to 75 minutes and writer Ryan Perez said the script was written in three days and the movie shot in five days. Perez says that, "in true Internet fashion, it's not based on very thorough research -- essentially a cursory look at the Steve Jobs Wikipedia page. It's very silly. But it looks at his whole life."
Besides Jobs, there is also the Aaron Sorkin movie of Steve Jobs' life that will be based on Walter Isaacson's biography. That movie has yet to be cast.

Wow. He doesnt even remotely look like Jobs. Kutcher actually does but Long? LOL. He's more of a Bill Gates IMO. Will be interesting to see.

Now that you mentioned it, yes I now noticed Long does look like Gates. I wonder who would be Ballmer double?

I typically don't care for iThings, but in this case, I actually want to see it, if for no other reason than to maybe have a laugh at a skewed portrayal of a deceased business man who conquered with simplicity :)
