Judge Koh to Apple lawyers: Are you smoking crack?

0. phoneArena 16 Aug 2012, 14:05 posted on

Judge Koh hit her limit today with Apple's lawyers, asking them if they'd lost their minds when submitting nearly two dozen witnesses and 75 pages of paperwork for their 4 hour rebuttal period...

ummm jack thats 75 pages of over 20 rebuttal witnesses bio, credentials, reasons and out of those she has to sort through who they actually call up so it wouldn't be easy to make judgements on the witness testimony on the stand so complete false statements could be said and thats a huge waste of time to read all that if all of them aren't going to be called. Sin her words are you smoking crack?

75 pages for some witnessses... how many other pages through this whole course have they already read?

maybe she's pissed because for a witness list is usually 20 pages or so and apple is just doing what apple does and acting like they have no reason to abide by "normalities" or "rules" even..

They need to make a comedy skit out of this case with Bobby Lee starring as Judge Lucy Koh. I can visualize him delivering that line. HAHAHAHA

That must've been priceless. Looks like Koh is getting tired of Apple's BS. Bring down the hammer. Or... Gavel. Yeah, that one.

This case makes NO sense. is this what my tax dollars are paying for........lawyers being told that they're smoking crack by a federal judge??? I hope Apple is learning how to be an ASS because they sure are teaching us how to be on a national scale lol

I can see a mistrial happening because theres too much paperwork and run-around for her to stayed focused on a ruling. Id say, call a mistrial, never bring this matter up again, and focus on the REAL task at hand and thats making money from mobile phone and other products

The only thing that could have been funnier than “Unless you're smoking crack..." is if she order Apples lawyers to take a piss test. My spirit is renewed now that it appears she is taking a less biased approach, although her rulings earlier on regarding Samsung witnesses and prior designs may have already done their damage to the case. At any rate, go Samsung...booo rotten Apple!

Do either of these companies really want to win this? It's like both are trying to push to a mis-trial or at least guarantee they can drag this on for another couple years in appeal, and I love me some Samsung, but sweet mother these lawyers are drugged up.

Go get them, Judge....

you know.. thats a decent point. I kinda figured the way it was going early on that Samsung would push for a mistrial because it was pretty one sided. Maybe Apple isnt feeling so confident in their "evidence" now and is trying to push Koh to the limit to make it seem like it was less one sided so an appeal gets approved if/when they loose.

The judge we all thought was kissing Apple's iAss just came out against Apple and their sensless, moronic approach to a rebuttal?

WHAT A TWIST! We all just got M. Night Shayamalan'd! Perhaps now things will really get tough for Apple and their defense. It could still go either way, though; you never know.

Regardless of what side you are on but isn't the Judge's job to review the paperwork? I know that is alot of paperwork but when you are considering a case this big, its very important you get every information. This case can have an major effect on the economy of Korea and America. Samsung is the biggest company in Korea, if they lose this case the country's economy will suffer. Apple is one of the few american company that is making money in this economy, if they lose the recession is going to hit harder. The stock market will crash, as apple stocks are always guarantee success. Just my view of this case so far.

Has apple worked with any OEM's that didn't end up getting sued in the end by apple?

Apparently iTunes was on a Motorola device first.

Would be poetic if every OEM stopped making parts for apple.

This selfish and inconsiderate woman Koh is a criminal who is breaking the moral rules of corporate conduct by defending Samsung who clearly stole from Apple. Samsung even steals Apple's actors and actresses in Apple's iphone commercials. Koh’s attempts to defend Samsung even amidst such daunting evidence can be categorized as malicious intent to defraud public opinion for financial gain and self-preservation.

Those who believe Google Android products are cheap knockoffs of Apple's iPhone and iPad were given more ammo this week when it emerged that Samsung hired the same exact child actress as Apple to star in the ads for its new tablet.

Samsung Accused of Stealing Apple Acting Talent, Samsung Then Quickly Pulls Ad

Samsung steals iPhone ad actress for Galaxy Tab commercial
http://9to5mac.com/2012/01/02/samsung-steals-iphone-ad-actress-for-galaxy-tab-commercial/

When Samsung was discovered and caught stealing the same exact actors for their commercials like a bent-over thief, Samsung started quickly erasing all the videos off of Youtube in an attempt to suppress evidence. Apple is simply fed up with Samsung and Koh's tactics of manipulation, Koh and Samsung refuse to play by the rules set forth in agreement by every businessman/woman. Please note that not all Asians are as bad as the Koreans, the Chinese and Japanese are kind and normal people, and accordingly all of Asia are independent minded thoughtful people, and are your allies. They won’t act like Koreans and copy every single aspect of Apple the same exact actors. They won’t lie like the Koreans after they are discovered stealing. Koh is smoking crack.
