Honestly, iPhone can do more than being in a fridge, eg. you can put onto it a few icons :-)

Icons are not enough, we need pickles, cheese, tomatoes, mayonnaise, sliced turkey meat, and the most important ingredient : Apple logo!

And there you have it, the delicious and nutritious iSandwich is served! Bon appétit! :)

I am reminded about the fairy tale about the Emperor having no clothes.... Invisible sandwich could be Ive's undoing. If iOS 7 is a fail, Jony will own the fail. And, apparently, the good stuff in iOS 7 doesn't ship until v. 7.1....

Seems to me that iOS 7 will needs a lot more then an "app" update to compete.

Not sure why I get thumbed down for an honest comment. At least if you disagree then reply with an argument!!

I'm not bashing apple... In fact I am an avid Apple supporter. I'm just stating that the current iOS is lame and it needs more then a few app changes to feel refreshed.

I 100% agree with you Dave. Ios7 needs to hit it outta the park, Barry Bonds style. Apple has the know how, money, and partnering to do whatever they please. It's not about what they can't do, it's about what they won't do. Apple needs to rock the boat. I used to criticize google for releasing half baked features on android, and then sending out updates to fix them...well look how that approach paid off for google. Android has made far more strides during its existence than iOS has. Hope apple steps it up...by the way +1 Dave

Google was able to take more risk because all the risk they had was offset by the all of their phone manufacturers and all the devices that were powered by Android. With Apple, since they like doing one phone per year it forces them to sink or swim every year.

Thanks DK!

Yea man, Apple needs a few tricks to get this pony of to a running start. I'm expecting a complete refresh and not just a few minor app tweaks,

I used to bash Android too... I used to laugh at all the useless widgets and bloated software... I'm eating my words now because I wish my iPhone had some of those features. (but not all...haha)

I don't think it needs to. Apple has enough core followers that even if it isn't a big upgrade, and they don't hit it out of the park,it'll still sell well. Don't underestimate apples mind share, add the average users lack of understanding of tech.

The thing is, they don't have to do a lot to compete. They still have the majority of the profits in the industry, their sales are still growing (even if they aren't growing as fast as they used to). This is what successful companies do, they keep making money on small iterations, and they innovate (or go down) when they have to. Samsung's doing the same thing with the GS4.

Angry at android companys incompetence. Android is the biggest fail. Ever. If you reject this claim, then you are the same. iPhone > android = 0" is true for all androids and iphones."

Number one selling smartphone OS. Number one selling tablet OS. Overall 70%+ market share. Over 1.5 million devices activated every day. Over 500 activated in the 30 seconds it took you to type your mini manifesto here.

We all should fail like that.

I already know how to work the app well so I hope its just the design not the functionality. Then I'm going to have to relearn a new app!

Not really sure what more you can do with a calendar and email that aren't already being done. If Ive is going or a flat simple look to them... well, Outlook kind of already beat them to the punch.

I know... it'll look like Outlook, but have Google Now-like notifications/cards! It'll be revolutionary!!!
