1st step is always the most difficult and it's logical when Jolla makes it in China where Nokia had strong presence. I guess it will be a low cost but well built handset. I also expect Jolla has several surprises in the interface department and Nokia map and Android apps are compatible.

Can't wait to see the design.

Can't wait but yet I still remember you were saying that there would be no more room for Jolla since Android has already matured..

Well, you see now that there is always a possibility?

I still see no room for Jolla as a big player, but I'm very curious what they will come up with that allows them to survive.

This is what i had in mind when they stated that they have plans on how to have apps. I think they will make android apps compatible with it. But what bothers me is how are they going to do it? Will they get some license/permission from google to use the playstore... seriously, the big question here is, HOW?

In China people do not buy apps, they just use apps and can download them easily from the web.

When Jolla comes to US I guess they can use Amazone app store.

Maybe Jolla will succeed where Nokia doesn't? Got to be a serious comeuppance for Nokia. I can just imagine the second-guessing that will be occurring.

without a doubt Jolla would come up with something like N9 but above par to start with. We must all agree tha MEEGO is a beautiful platform to start with. Imagine developing it further would be just beyond our imagination.
