I wonder how this is going to compete with the Bose Bluetooth speaker I bought almost a year ago for the same price. I also paid $299.99 for it. People are always impressed with the sound when I take it to the beach or park with it's built in nylon stand. (Keeps it protected on most important sides). I'm not sure about this JamBox, If it has equal sound... then I will keep my Bose BT Speaker so i don't have to carry something around that looks like a giant Lego. If the sound is better, I'll deal with the Lego look and sell my Bose BT speaker. But something tells me since Bose only does Audio for the most part, I have a feeling the sound is still going to be better.

Btw. I forgot to add that the Bose lasts way longer than 8hrs. Last 4th of July I was the beach literally for 14+hrs. (730ish am to find a space on the beach till about 10pm) and the music was maybe at 25-35% volume and it did not die. I think the 8hr rating is if it's closer to max volume.
