From all the Photos and videos I have seen I can say I am really impress with the workmanship of the HTC one. However that being said I still have doubts about the battery life and I am very disappointed with the camera. I would preferred if they went with more pixels than bigger pixels. Don't get me wrong OIS is great but for me a 8 meg Pixel camera should have been the minimum that they offer on such a beautiful device.
I think HTC is going to do fine and I am happy they are back. I don't know why it takes a company to have its' back up against a wall to finally listen to its users and produce something of this quality.

I plan to test drive this device at my Local AT&T store and also test drive the S4 as well. I know that if I buy either device they will both get covered by a case ( I don't plan on investing in a 600.00 plus device and get a 2.00 protector for it). So as far as the beauty of the device I think for me the HTC will be on equal footing once I place it in a case and the S4 will gain beauty once I place it in a case ( will buy one of thos beautiful aluminum cases). what will be the driving factor for me will be the camera and software ( HTC one great workmanship and the S4 is intelligent workmanship). Right now the S4 has it. But I will wait till the test drive of both. This is why I love Android!!! A wide range of choices unmatched by any

Great! Now lets get some good marketing behind this device! No cheesy funny or die videos that fail on all fronts of advertising. Give me great commercials that I will want to share with my family & friends, instead of cheesy internet videos that make my groan and then wonder "did they even tell me anything about the phone?"

First batch had many defects so a lot the early adopters are getting phones with gaps in the body. The 2nd batch fixed this though. HTC rushed this phone to get out before the S4, their mistakes will be their doom.

Still trolling, paid Samsung shill? Shouldn't you be astroturfing in Taiwanese tech forums, since that is what Sammy is paying you to do?

Downvotes for the truth, just GTFO. The first batch of HTC One had a high defect rate for build quality. HTC will replace it if you receive one

Tell HTC to make a phone with micro sd and a removeable battery and I will buy it, haven't seen one in a while and Samsung has the only decent phone right now with microsd/removeable battery. Without those I'm not buying HTCs handset no matter how good it is.

Yes, because the Sammy flagship, the S3, didn't ship with paint problems, didn't suffer from the "brick bug" or "sudden death syndrome," and Galaxy AMOLEDs are not known for their high burn-in rates. Let's just forget that in the first 3 months, the S3 suffered from obscene return rates (> 10%). Of course the few isolated incidents you mention of the One count as "many," and what you are saying isn't FUD.

Tell your corporate paymasters not to build cheap POS phones that have poor radios and die for no reason, and I may buy one.

Actually the S4 cost more to make than the HTC one. The exynos 5 has better battery life than the snapdragon 600 and the phone doesn't die for no reason fyi idleing it uses on a7 core underclocked which barely draws any power which uses a lot less power than 1 underclocked a15 core. Also the Radio in the s4 international is better than the one in the HTC One. The US version has the same radio as the HTC One.

You need to educate yourself.

I know what the Hell the differences are between an A7 core and an A15 core. You are talking about devices they aren't even out as if you know how they will behave. Based on past history, the One X had issues, but none as severe as the S3. It sounds as if you are an asshurt Samsung fanboy who can't stand that there is buzz about an Android device not made by your shepherds. You praise the Exynos, but you seem to think it is due to Samsung...it's not. Sammy has an ARM license, nothing more. Apple and Qualcomm have architecture licenses, so whatever their processors do can be attributed to those companies, but the credit for the Exynos is mostly ARM's. As far as the radio, if you think Samsung is building better radios than Qualcomm, you are either naive, stupid, or both. Motorola, Qualcomm, and Broadcom are the big three, and Sammy is somewhere behind.

Me? I'm OS agnostic, and use what I like. I have been at odds with everyone on here, at one time or another, because I don't judge by hearsay or reviews, I buy the devices and use them.

Well good luck beating the S4. It should've sold 5 millions by now not 50.000.

HTC will never beat Samsung, when the average consumer sees HTC they say ewww when they see Samsung or Apple they fall in love. Marketing is everything to the average consumer. HTC will never learn. The HTC One will pull another HTC One X and then HTC will blame Samsung for poor sales.

#1 reason for getting a Snapdragonn 600 S4 over an HTC One is MICRO SD, they need to learn this NOW.

Yes, because the lack of a removable battery and microSD slot have hurt the iPhone. Keep bleating, Sir Spamalot the Samsung Sheep. That S-Sentence was just for you, since you obviously love S-gimmickry blindly.

Because Exynos 5, ddr3, gorrila glass 3, better DAC, better radio, better battery life, better screen (opinion), better battery, micro sd and removeable battery are all gimmicks + 13mp camera. I won't be using Nature UX thats for damn sure, I prefer stock android. No gimmicks there.

Lol. Samsung fans are really blinded. I like HTC products, but i still think that the S4 is great, too. Now, whenever I see "my Samsung is better than your HTC" or vice versa, I'm like, damn, I'm in kindergarten all over again! They're right, we don't grow up, we just grow old.

now, I wanna see some good marketing by HTC.
