J-Lo stays loyal to the 'Berry, flaunting a BlackBerry Bold 9900 in her latest video

RIM seemed to have somehow managed to stay in the smartphone game with a dated UI, but last quarter it all fell apart and the phone maker seems to have started sliding down a dangerous Nokia-like slope…

Jennifer Lopez is so very HOT. Puerto Rican women are the sexiest. People magazines most beautiful woman in the world. Too bad Black Berry paid her some huge money because anyone knows Androids are the world’s best phones. Still it was a funny video. Watch Katie Perry & Lady Gaga copy JLow! lol

I love the information on this site, however it should be called the IPhone/Android Arena instead.

Actually its mostly Android, especially Motorola products (if you've noticed). But i agree with you. Another cool name would be, Andromorena. LOLzz. Sorry phonearena, you've have made it too obvious. Another thing I've noticed is that one Author seemed to have catered to a specific user. Bad for unbiased journalism!
Phonearena, just stating my opinion.

I guess that i am the only un biased party in the room. I have played with both of the new Bb's and they are absolutely delightful. Many of the old problems addressed. Good premium phone feel when it is in your hand and the torch is ok to. I dont know what you know about advertising, but when you put a comercial on Good Morning America, people see it. especially women who are at home. And J-LO appeals to women. I think that Bb is trying to create a new nitch in a wierd way. A premium phone for busy premium people. IDK for sure but that is just my two sence.

im lost, where is J-LO in this pic other than on a phone with her ex Marc Anthony....this doesn't prove nothing..who's hand is this in the pic? Is this RIM's push to get more sales...it will take more than J-LO and Marc Anthony on a Blackberry

If you really watched the video in the beginning you can see that it was her hands that the phone is in. WTF wake up!
7. darth8ball posted on 20 Sep 2011, 14:17 1
It's called 'product placement' and RIM probably paid a fee for J-LO to hold their phone in the video.

Do not know why you got thumbs down. Is there anyone that doesn't know that this is a common practice? I watched a recent video (think it was from All American Rejects, but I can't quite remember) in which they kept grouping cell phones together through out the video to create images. Every one of them was an LG branded phone. I love the show "The Glades". Every week, they show a close up of a Verizon branded device (the star uses the X2, the Medical examiner uses a Pre 2) and they also push the living crap out of Kia vehicles. J-Lo may love Blackberries for all I know. But, giving free publicity in this day and age, with someone as well known as her??? Doubt it.

We can call the UI dated or whatever but to old BB users, it is and will be an entirely new experience. Although it does, admittedly, lag behind Android UI. Of course, RIM are still playing catch-up but to some customers (and a bulk, I emphasize), the product is still the best thing since sliced bread. Believe me there are BB Taco50's out there- and they have been using BBs since the days of the Pearl 7100.
I know we haven't seen any QNX devices yet, but I do know there are some Android fans who will want to have BB QNX flavored devices.

RIM is prime for a takeover or buyout at very least and no one has stepped up to take charge, higher ups getting looked at for stock fraud and rumors of attempting to devalue stocks for repurchase for a proposed backroom sale deal roaming around. But reality it is anyones guess what is going on in the RIM boardroom
11. lubba posted on 20 Sep 2011, 17:23 0
The reality is they will end up like Motorola. Actually they are like Motorola right now. Their problem is they're not adapting to change and of course possible fraud as you indicated.
